Is the overall length the problem, as to fitting in between the frame rails? or is that not a problem?
I would center the motor off the ring indention on the end of it rather than try to "hunt" for a good fit.
What are you using for a coupler?
Is this a front wheel drive car?
The overall length is the problem since I want to avoid modifying the frame while at the same time getting the gearbox output in the right place. I'm having the gearbox's input shaft cut to match the spline on the motor (the motor has a female spline) so no coupler is required. This is a front wheel drive car.
