Firmware V3.31, CCS v1.11
Termination
- ?/C termination seems to use the capacity charged during that cycle to terminate, so if you start charging at 95% full it believes the battery is only 5% of it's actual size and terminates at a very low current. Maybe this is helped with the Fuel table?
- Terminating at a particular current is good except the available current only goes up to 1A which is too low for a large cell and a high voltage
Balancing
Balancing during the charge seems to be acting on information not displayed
Voltage & Current Measurement
The powerlab must be turning off the current in order to measure the voltage without using the balance wires as it does not report the (significant) voltage drop in the wiring during high current operation. This confuses multimeters.
Some configurations appear to introduce an error in either or both of the charge and discharge capacity measurements as it consistently shows different significatly capacity when charging and discharging.
Saftey Limits
- The charge timeout cannot be set beyond 8 hours (the UI has values greater than 8 hours but refuses to save the preset if you use them). This is a problem when charging from a small power supply
